it's me again !, anyway welcome back to my blog yeayyy~. today, we're gonna talk about narrative text, sooo here we goo !!

what is narrative text?? hmm, let's talk about this.

narrative text is a kind of text to retell the story using past tense.

the purpose of the text is to entertain or to amuse the readers or listeners about the story.

narrative text has a function, what is it??

function :

▪︎ to entertain the readers or listeners

▪︎ to teach or inform

▪︎ and to change social opinion

and now, let's talk about the generic structre of narrative text.

• orientation : it set the scene or introduce the participants, (it answer the question : who, when, what and where)

• complication : tells the problem of the story and how the main character solve them.

• resolution : the crisis is revolved, for better or worse, it shows the end of the story, usually a happy ending.

• re-orientation : (optional) the ending of the story.

other generic structure of narrative text.

• evaluation : (optional) the stepping back to evaluation the story or the moral message of the story.

• coda : (optional) changes of the characters of lesson/value of the story.
