how r u today??, i hope u guys always happy and healthy. today, i'm gonna talk about 'historical recount', theenn here we go !!!


• what is historical recount? •
 recount text is a text that retells a story about past events or experiences in the order they happened. Its purpose is to inform/retell past event to the audience.

☆ generic structure ☆ 
# Orientation : It gives the readers the background information needed to understand the text, such as who was involved, where it happened, and when it happened.
# Events : A series of events, ordered in a chronological sequence.
# Re-orientation :A personal comment about the event or what happened in the end.

◇ the characteristics / language feature ◇
– Using the simple past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense, and past perfect continuous tense.
– Using temporal sequence, e.g. On Saturday. On Monday, On Sunday
– Focus on specific participant, e.g. I (the writer)
– Using the conjunctions, such as: then, before, after, etc.
– Using action verd, e.g. went, stayed

assalamualaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh. hello guys !, welcome back to me again yehey. today i' gonna show u an explanation of historical recount text. here we goo !! ☆ Proclamation of Indonesian Independence ☆  Proclamation of Indonesian Independence  was read at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, 17 August 1945. The declaration marked the start of the diplomatic and armed resistance of the Indonesian National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands and pro-Dutch civilians, until the latter officially acknowledged Indonesia’s independence in 1949. The Netherlands declared that they had decided to accept de facto 17 August 1945 as Indonesia’s independence date. The United Nations, who mediated in the conflict, formally acknowledge the date of independence as 27 December 1949.
