descriptive text

hallo hallo hallooo, come back to me again yall. 
today, we're gonna talk about descriptive text. andd here we go! 



sooo,, what is descriptive text??? 
A descriptive text usually focuses on describing a single location, object, event, person, or place. It endeavors to engage all five of the reader’s senses to evoke the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and feel of the text’s subject.

descriptive text has 6 steps, namely : 

step #1. select a topic
Generally, descriptive texts are narrow in focus. This allows for an in-depth exploration of the subject. If ever the old adage show, don’t tell applied to a writing genre, descriptive texts are it.

step #2. write a thesis statement
The purpose of a descriptive essay is also to inform the reader on a particular topic, event, or experience.

step #3. evoke the subject's essence 
The clue is the title! To evoke the subject in the minds of the readers, you're will need to drill down into the essence of the thing itself.

step #4. create an outline
Now that you're have selected an engaging topic, produced a solid thesis statement, and gathered together lots of relevant sensory detail, they’ll need to create a clear outline to organize and inform the writing process.

step #5. write, write and write!! 
By this stage, you've laid more than enough groundwork to get started writing in earnest.

and the last step in this topic is.. redraft, edit, proofread
However, this stage is very important if you want to produce a well-written descriptive essay. Push yourself to maintain focus as they rearrange, edit, and proofread your writing.

The declaration marked the start of the diplomatic and armed resistance of the Indonesian National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands and pro-Dutch civilians, until the latter officially acknowledged Indonesia’s independence in 1949. The Netherlands declared that they had decided to accept de facto 17 August 1945 as Indonesia’s independence date. The United Nations, who mediated in the conflict, formally acknowledge the date of independence as 27 December 1949.
